Join us at Dave & Buster’s following Commuter Day!
Dave & Buster’s is a great place to have a good time, let loose, eat, and play! Join the Commuter Assistants on an excursion from campus to Dave & Buster’s. Receive a free PowerPlay card and enjoy some munchies as you get to know other commuters better.
The bus (free!) will leave campus at 4 pm and will return at 8 pm.
Family and friends are welcome to join us, but will not receive a PowerCard. If you are interested in joining us for this optional activity, be sure click on the link above to register for Commuter Day! Students who register for Dave & Buster’s will receive more information closer to the date.
Hey First Year Commuters! Get a jumpstart to your first year at Pitt!
A new initiative with Commuter Student Programs, Commuter Day invites first year commuter students to campus prior to New Student Orientation. During this fun-filled and information packed day, first year commuters will receive the necessary tools to navigate not only campus, but their journey to Oakland as well. All first year commuter students will receive a special invitation to Commuter Day in their New Student Orientation mailing in July.

The commuter student blog, is all about communication! Communication with you, our commuter students, is a primary goal of Commuter Student Programs. Therefore, we have designed the blog, to assist you with information, resources and communication.
The blog will be used for general announcements from our office, to disperse information from other campus departments, and to allow commuter students to communicate with each other through blog discussions.
Commuter Student Programs delivers programming and services that will help you navigate the Pitt community and develop a strong connection to campus life. Commuter Student Programs does programs such as the Good Morning Commuters, Commuter Soup and Substance, Commuter Night In program, and more.
